2-room-apartment (52 sqm) in a quite side road from the Kurfürstendamm, near the underground stations Kurfürstendamm and Zoologischer Garten.

The apartment is on the second floor (a lift is available) and has been tastefully furnished. It has got a living room, fully equipped kitchen and welcoming bedroom, and a modern, tiled bathroom with bathtub. There is a comfortable bed, a large convertible sofa-bed, including sufficient bed linen and towels.

The apartment was freshly renovated in 2008 and all the furniture is new.

The flat is equipped with a flatscreen TV, DVD player, midi-hifi, and there is generous space for clothes and luggage.
The kitchen is fully fitted with electric stove, fridge, dish-washer, coffee machine, toaster, cutlery, dishes, and kitchenware from wine glasses to frying pans: everything you need for a quick breakfast or a luxurious dinner.

In Berlin you will find a very compact public transport network. Many sights are directly and rapidly accessible. Because of the central location most guests leave their car parked, or do not even bring it at all. The apartment is situated directly at the underground station Bayerischer Platz in the west of the city, near Kudamm and Zoological Garden - the Zoo with the world`s highest number of species. Several underground lines, (night-) buses, and a taxi stand are practically on your doorstep.

The apartment is situated in Charlottenburg district, a central area close to Kudamm, Berlin`s famous shopping mile and elegant promenade. You will live between city-west and city-east in an ideal situation between the interesting popular areas of Kudamm and Potsdamer Platz. Attractions like the Gedächtniskirche (memorial church) and KaDeWe are dierctly in the area.

There are numerous shopping opportunities nearby, as well as trendy areas and a lively cultural- and night-life directly on your doorstep. A large and beautiful market (Winterfeldmarkt) is also quite close, reputed to be one of the most interesting markets in Berlin.

You will meet the typical mixture of antiques shops, countless cafés and a multitude of restaurants, art shops, galeries, antiquarian bookstores and small businesses. The many small and medium shops in the area offer a diverse shopping experience.

The nearest motorway exit is only a few minutes away by car, to the south of the flat, and is called Innsbrucker Platz.

From the airport Tegel you take the bus X9 up to the station Ernst-Reuter-Platz and change there into the underground line U2 (direction Pankow) and travel to the station Nollendorfplatz (27 min.).

From the airport Schönefeld, firstly take the S9 (or another S-line in the same direction) to the station Warschauer Strasse. Here, change into the underground line U1 (direction Uhlandstr) and get off at the station Nollendorfplatz (50 min.).

From Hauptbahnhof (central train station) take the S-Bahn up to the station Zoologischer Garten. Here, change into the underground line U2 (direction Pankow) and get off at the station Nollendorfplatz (17 min.).
